We have been following the updates and instructions from the necessary departments related to the COVID-19 virus very closely, as we take our guests’, clients’ and staff’s health and safety very seriously.
For now, we are pleased to report that we will remain open for business, and we are taking extra precautions at this time to protect all who enter our premises.
We have rearranged the table configuration in The Restaurant and The Tasting Room to ensure a sufficient amount of space between occupied tables.
Place-setting items such as cutlery and condiments will be supplied prior to food arriving, and will not be left on tables when unoccupied.
Wine-tasting glasses will also not be set out prior to the arrival of guests for tastings.
Card-machines, menus, door-handles, chairs, railings and any other items that would be exposed to frequent contact will be wiped down with sanitiser at regular intervals.
We will continue to disinfect as we prep and cook food, as per normal hygiene standards.
All staff in food prep areas will be wearing gloves.
Hand sanitiser for staff and guests will be available in all public areas, as well as in our accommodation.
All employees are practicing preventative measures as set out by the NICD, over and above our standard health and safety protocols.
We ask members of the public who have recently travelled, or who are presenting symptoms to please act responsibly.
We will update the public if anything changes, but we welcome you to make contact should you have any queries or concerns.
Our Best Wishes, Wildekrans Hospitality Team
