One of our hard-working ambassadors, Glenda Sixel, has been on a journey, showcasing our award-winning wines and new vintages at events, dinners and launches. Glenda shares some of her highlights with us.


Monte de Dios is an exquisite conferencing, wedding and events venue in Pretoria. At a recent food & wine pairing evening, Wildekrans wines were used to complement their 5-course menu for the evening. One of the favourite pairings of the evening was the Rolled Pork Belly stuffed with apple and mixed berry compote, accompanied with our Estate Range Rosé.

Another successful food & wine pairing, this time at the Farm 2 Fork Restaurant at Hoopoe Haven Guest House, where guests enjoyed a multi-course menu and a festive atmosphere with live music. Again, our Estate Range Rosé was a firm favourite.

OMYS Restaurant & Cafe in Randburg was the chosen venue for a local chapter of a business networking organisation to host a dinner. Glenda and Kamogelo were there to present Wildekrans Wine to the guests.

For those with a sweet tooth, it was a perfect pairing of chocolate and Wildekrans wine at Vela Contemporary Portuguese Restaurant in Hartbeespoort, where guest were treated to a complimentary tasting. Our MCC Brut Chenin Blanc, and our Estate Range Sauvignon Blanc, Rose & Pinotage were paired with 4 delicious artisan chocolates.

Glenda and Wayne visited The Parys Golf & Country Estate to introduce our wines to members of the Parys Golf Club. This was a wonderful evening with eager and exceptionally hospitable wine lovers – one of Glenda’s favourite events this year.

Wildekrans was invited to a long-table pairing with Mix 93.8 FM at Molitva Restaurant in Magaliesberg, a truly wonderful experience. Then, the fun photo on the right is from the Liemers Landrover Day, where guests could enjoy complimentary Wildekrans tastings.

Last, but not least, a selection of private events, weddings, store launches and markets where Wildekrans was available to be sampled and enjoyed by all who attended.
